Our Story.
Built on experience. Finding better solutions.
Select Chemicals is a family-owned New Zealand company with more than 40 years of experience in water quality, water treatment and chemical solutions.
We've built our business by working closely with the people who rely on us — from pool owners and operators to public facilities, industrial sites and dairy farms. Many of our commercial customers have been with us for decades, and those long-standing relationships mean a lot to us.
We're a small team, but there's a lot of knowledge behind what we do. Our owner remains hands-on in the business and involved in production, while our team brings practical experience and technical expertise to everything from water testing and analysis to chemical manufacture, dosing systems and treatment solutions.
We're also always looking for ways to do things better. We've invested heavily in research and development, including the development of our own technology for automatically analysing water and controlling chlorine dosing.
But ultimately, our approach is simple: understand the water, understand the problem, and find the right solution.
We believe people make better decisions when they understand their water. So whether you need a test, a chemical, a dosing system or simply some advice, we're here to help — and we're always happy to explain the why behind it.
